Ithaca-based folk-jazz outfit, The Good Hope, blends the smokily textured vocals of singer-songwriter Jen Cork, with the instrumental stylings of some of Ithaca's long-time favorites, Harry Aceto (upright bass), Brian Earle (clarinet), and Michael Wellen (drums). With their first full-length album release, Forever to Fall, in April 2015, The Good Hope brings a sometimes danceable and sometimes pensive, but always rich exploration of death, learning, and love.
