The Vine Brothers

The Vine Brothers

Criss-crossing the country for the last number of years from the Atlantic Ocean to the Colorado Plateau, this acoustic trio uses mandolin, guitar, upright bass, and vocal harmonies to captivate audiences with their crafty songwriting, fiery improvisation, and soulful delivery.  The band's versatility makes them equally at home whether performing in a theater, an intimate club or on a large festival stage.

The Vine Brothers' latest album, The Devil and the Deep Black Sky, spans the range from rootsy folk to gypsy swing to bluegrass and blues.  It follows 2012's Low Rent, which received airplay on over 100 stations in the US and Canada and charted on six of them, including a number one position on KRZA in Alamosa, CO.  One of the songs from Low Rent, "Three Bottles", was featured on the Discovery Channel show Vegas Rat Rods.

Bonnie Grice, host of The Eclectic Cafe on WPPB 88.3 FM in Southampton, NY called The Vine Brothers "Bright and buttery... flamboyant with a touch of oak...  Kick-ass but not too tart...  a unique brand of bluesy folk gypsy jazz...  straight off the vine... Love them!" - See more at: http://www.thevinebrothers.com/band_bio/#sthash.abP5MwTQ.dpuf
